Cokethorpe Camps offers an exciting range of activities for children who love adventure, team sports and having fun. Running from Monday 11 July to Friday 2 September, with prices starting from just £35 per day, and a reduced rate for full-week bookings, parents looking for ways to fill those long summer school holiday days need look no further.

Multi-Activity Camps cover ages four to fourteen in three age-based groupings, with activities tailored to provide your children with a varied, engaging, and entertaining session each and every day.

The younger years will enjoy a range of activities across the school site encompassing outdoor play, creative art, teamwork through sport and discovery through outdoor learning. Meanwhile, some of the activities for the older groups may include Tennis; Frisbee; Quidditch; Cricket; Slacklining; Air Rifles; Natural art; Painting; Fire by friction; Shelter building; Pancakes; Escape and evasion games; Capture the flag; Catapults; Command tasks; Orienteering; and an Obstacle course, over the course of the week.

However, the highlights of the Cokethorpe Camps programme are undoubtedly the week-long sports camps. Join elite coaches for sessions in Rugby and Cricket or hop on the water (or in it!) for the lively, action-packed, fun-filled, and oh-so-refreshing Water Sports weeks.

Tackle the Rugby Week with Cokethorpe’s Director of Sport, Nick Walshe. Nick has played for Harlequins, Saracens, Bath and Sale, is a former coach for Gloucester and Head Coach for Coventry, as well as having coached England U20s to back-to-back World Cup wins.

Darryl Woods played for Oxfordshire for more than a decade. He made his List A debut against Surrey in the 1991 NatWest Trophy. A hugely experienced coach, with more than 30 years of coaching experience across age-grade and senior sides, he is the Oxfordshire U18 and Oxfordshire Women’s team coach. He has coached and played with many current and former professional players, as well as captaining the county’s over-50s side.

The days all run from 8.30am to 5.30pm and can be booked online via cokethorpe.org/camps. Childcare vouchers and the Tax-Free Childcare Allowance are both accepted.
