Mae’s Cafe is a new venture for our family and friends in Faringdon.

When planning this as a young family ourselves, we put our hearts into putting something into the community for everyone to enjoy, from young, old, families and also pet friendly to come along, socialise, or even a bit of chill out time whilst enjoying a nice bite to eat or even just stopping for a coffee and a catch up with family and friends, we want people to feel part of a close-knit community.

We are immensely proud of our standards of food and beverages; we have had some great feedback from our customers telling us how much they enjoyed our Fried Breakfasts, Panini’s, and Sandwiches along with lots of other food choices. We make all of our sandwich filling ourselves and all of our food is from locally sourced produce.

We are also extremely proud to have recently received a “Four Star” rating from The Food Standard Agency.

At Mae’s Café we try our best to welcome and cater for everyone, we have colouring books on hand for the children and treats and water bowls ready for the dogs.

We feel we have made an enormous success so far with winning over the members of Faringdon, we thoroughly enjoy what we do on a daily basis, and we already have our regulars who we love to see every day.

You may have seen our Breakfast Challenge we have available for people to try if they wish! It is just for a bit of fun and anything you leave on your plate you may take home (but so far, we have had no winners on the board). So, if you think this challenge is for you and you could beat it, please call 01367 243433 and book in with us! (Please note we do need notice for this so book in advance).

When I saw a post on Facebook promoting Scone Baking Demos with the chance to learn how to bake the most delicious scones possible, followed by the opportunity to indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea, I was intrigued and wanted to know more. What I discovered when I visit chezbeccy.com is that Beccy Hunt is a lady who has a passion for baking, and I decided it was time to have a chat with her to find out more.
