Crafters Emporium Faringdon

divider

When you are looking for gifts with a difference, where do you start? If you live in or near to Faringdon, the answer is simple. Venture along to 8 London Street in Faringdon on a Tuesday or Friday and take a look inside the Crafters Emporium where you will find a range of unique, carefully made items.

The Crafters Emporium was established in September 2019 as a Community Interest Company with their first shop set up in a Faringdon cellar in June 2021. As the venture became more popular, both with crafters selling their work and customers visiting the premises, the Crafters Emporium relocated to their current premises just three months later.

The Crafters Emporium looks after more than forty crafters work, ranging from jewellery to artwork. Every crafter is special as often they are starting out on their own journey selling their craft work and are nervous about taking this first step. The work of young crafters is also displayed provided they have their parent’s approval.

Stock does obviously vary throughout the year and the Crafters Emporium does like to see something different available to ensure that customers are always able to find something special and different. At times through the year, it may be that applications will be closed to certain types of crafts if there are too many crafters offering similar types of items. Crafters can get involved by emailing craftemporium123@gmail.com or popping in to see either Natasha or Lori, one of their lovely volunteers. Lori has a great eye for detail and sorts out stock, displaying it in the most amazing way. Any prospective crafters who come in with their crafts will be introduced to Natasha if she is not in the Crafters Emporium at the time.

The Crafters Emporium is open on Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 3pm and Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
