The Gin To My Tonic Craft Spirit Festival Faringdon

Beautiful Venues 23 Faringdon 1

Over recent years, small distillers have sprung up nationwide creating some amazing craft gins and spirits such as rum and vodka. Faringdon company The Gin To My Tonic is including the Sudbury House Hotel in the town as a venue on their 25-date nationwide tour as they take their ‘Craft Spirit Festival’ around the UK.

The Faringdon event will start at 6pm until 10.30pm on Friday 16 June. On Saturday 17 it runs from 11.30 am until 4.00 pm and in the evening from 6pm to 10.30pm. For a ticket price of just £16.50 per person (over 18s only), your ticket includes an Explorer Guide, New-Look Glass & Tote Bag, Stainless Steel Straw & Stainless-Steel Sampling Cup, access to extensively stocked Spirit Bards with 35ml measures rather than the standard 25ml, the opportunity to enjoy cocktails, beer, and Prosecco. There is also free sampling from a number of onsite Craft Distillers, access to hot and cold food, and exclusive Gin and Rum releases – all accompanied by the sound of live entertainment.

The Craft Spirit Festival is a fun way to bring together many different craft gins and spirits under one roof to create what The Gin To My Tonic describes as “one epic celebration!” The company’s aim is to celebrate and raise awareness of fabulous craft gins, spirits and distillers and introduce you to new gins, rums, and vodkas you may not have previously discovered. Sampling is all part of the fun, and you will be part of the ‘festival of choice’ for the craft gin industry. All the very best producers will be ready and waiting to share their samples with you, ensuring you leave suitably inspired with much more produce knowledge than before.

Whilst the company was created to promote craft gins, they offer so much more at their festivals so if you are looking for a deliciously spirited day out, surely it is the place to be.

The Gin To My Tonic was the brainchild of two best friends and fellow gin enthusiasts Emira Shepherd and Paul Hudson-Jones. Together they started an Instagram blog talking about their passion for Craft Gin and Distilling. Together they recommended gins, shared their perfect serves, creating cocktail masterpieces along the way. Nowadays, The Gin To My Tonic is one of the largest communities in the UK focussed on award-winning events including ‘Meet-the-Maker’ shows, Gin Festivals and Tastings. They have also launched an online store with an ever-growing range of craft gins and spirits for people to enjoy. Monthly tasting events and a Gin Club can also be accessed virtually.
