Blenheim Palace Flower Show

10 Years of Horticultural Delights

divider

What can be more wonderful than spending a day exploring a colourful flower show in the most stunning World Heritage Site? The gates open for this year’s 10th Anniversary Blenheim Palace Flower Show on 23 June until Sunday 25 June, making it a perfect place to spend a summer’s day. Over the years the Blenheim Palace Flower Show has grown in size year on year and regularly attracts many thousands of visitors.

As you would expect, the Show brings back old favourites such as the magnificent Grand Floral Pavilion where nurseries display their finest plants as they compete for the prestigious Best in Show Award. Here you will find plants that are not usually available from local garden centres, including Bonsai, flytrap plants, cactus and many more. Other highlights include the inspirational outdoor floral displays in ‘Floral Street’ – this designated area within the showground area will tempt you with a great range of beautiful plants to purchase and experts are on hand too, offering tips and advice on how to get the best from your purchases.

New for 2023, is the brand-new plant inspired ‘Insect Trail’. Florists, flower arrangers, students and artists have designed, built, and created large scale insects made from natural materials and flowers forming a trail around the Blenheim Palace Flower Show. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite insect to win a People’s Choice Award.

Alongside demonstrations from gardening experts in the Talks Theatre, you will have the chance to learn more about bee keeping with live demos from the Oxfordshire Beekeepers Association.

With the free carpark within walking distances of the show, carrying all the plants and other items on offer in the outdoor plant village, indoor and outdoor shopping villages selling a range of homeware, crafts and gardening related items, you won’t have far to carry the items you have bought. When you get hungry or thirsty, there is a Fine Food & Drink Pavilion along with a Village Green where you can buy food and refreshments. Entertainment is on hand with live music to enjoy throughout the weekend.

In the Talks Theatre, plantsmen and floral experts will give talks and demonstrations on all gardening topics, sharing their tips and advice on all garden matters, visitors will be able to purchase plants from their nurseries directly at the show.

The Blenheim Palace Flower Show runs from 10am to 5pm on Friday 23, Saturday 24,

and Sunday 25 June 2023 in the grounds of Blenheim Palace. Free parking is available for all visitors to the show. Tickets are available online via blenheimflowershow.co.uk.
