Enjoy family fun at Cogges Manor Farm over the Easter holidays.
Spot super-sized colourful eggs on the Easter hunt and win a chocolate treat. Say hello to the animals - goats, ponies, Cotswold sheep, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Look out for some new woolly and feathered friends, with lambs (hopefully!) and Easter chicks hatching on the farm! Try cooking and craft activities for kids in the Manor House, from cup-cake decorating to Easter bunny mask-making and paper-craft (check the website for times) and see the Parlour seasonally decorated with spring bouquets and baskets.
Wild play
Open every day, let imaginations run wild and create your own adventure with 17 acres of open space for kids to explore, adventure play fort, zip wire and trail around the old moat. Or your little farmers can jump on a mini-tractor and buzz around the farm! Pick up a Cogges Explorer Pack with bug pot and ID Guides and go on a minibeast hunt in the meadows.
What’s on
Grown-ups can book from a range of workshops, learn a new skill, and try something new - choose from Easter wreath flower arranging to art sessions, textile crafts, yoga and much more. Discover 1,000 years of stories in the historic house and grounds – fans of Downton Abbey will love looking around ‘Yew Tree Farm’ or you can book a short tour. Learn about food and growing in the walled kitchen garden and orchard, have a chat with the garden volunteers and animal team. The Season Ticket is fantastic value – visit the farm as often as you want during open season, with discounts on special events. Look out for a fun programme of family events and festivals celebrating local arts & crafts, music, food, and drink coming up this year!
Cogges Kitchen Café and toddler play area is open every day with seasonal treats, light lunches, cakes, and refreshments. Drop in to the shop for locally produced gifts, home and garden-ware, preserves and Cogges honey straight from the bees. No ticket needed to visit Café and shop.
