Mash have been friends of our team here for a long time, especially Lionel, our barketing director. This inspirational, independent brand – led by the ever- stylish Justin Alderslade – has really stamped its mark on the Cotswolds over the past few years with shops in both Chipping Norton and Stowe. Now, the latest and welcome addition to its beautifully curated stock of lifestyle essentials is The Pantry, the place to go for the stylish dog owner with their equally stylish pooch.

My greyhound, Lionel comes everywhere with me and the thought of a wander, followed by the most perfectly roasted coffee beans and decadent slices of homemade cake is just irresistible and when my surroundings are as delicious as the coffee it really is a win-win.

“Our shop in Chipping Norton continues to be an eclectic emporium of home decor and gifts,” Justin explains. “We strive to have great gifts for men along with our ladies’ boutique. We hand-pick every item to bring a completely different collection to the high street which makes mash a memorable experience. The collection includes such a vast array of home accessories it’s impossible to believe. Our passion for style and individuality is always at the forefront when putting the collection together.”

Sheer envy is one of the reasons that The Pantry features so highly on my list of go-to venues. I have always dreamed, in another life, about owning a shop full of beautiful things and Justin and his team have simply nailed it. If you love dogs, crave coffee, adore the Cotswolds, appreciate an amazing welcome, and need beautiful things in your life then take it from me – a visit to The Pantry at Mash is a January must do.
