Improving Children’s Lives Through Play
Since 1974, charitable organisation Oxfordshire Play Association (OPA) has been working hard to increase play opportunities for children and young people aged 0 to 19 years across the county. They want to champion and support the rights of all Children and Young People to have access to high quality, inclusive play opportunities to improve their physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Charity fundraiser extraordinaire, Andrew Baker MBE BCAv, who established the Didcot based charity Play2Give over 22 years ago, after he began fundraising at the tender age of 14 whilst a schoolboy, is organising, amongst other activities and campaigns, two fabulous fundraising events for you to be part of this year.

Located in the Community Station in the Soha Building in Didcot, run by Sustainable Didcot, The Green Hub is the town’s Climate Emergency Centre (CEC). Here the community can come together to meet, to learn, to share and discuss how they can work together collectively to build a more sustainable future for the town in which they live as well as in individual homes and businesses.
